Lakeshore Family Campground

A great find off the beaten path. Campground is small with just six spaces, but there is plenty of room. Pads are gravel and mostly level. Full hookups with Wifi. No facilities and no trash but not a problem.I have Verizon and cell service was spotty, but who cares. Lake view is amazing. Great dock and float. Is close to road so there is some road noise. If in the area would stop again.

This is an absolute diamond in the rough campground! We have waited for many years to be able to camp on Monticello so this place is perfect for our family! Booking is easy and the owners are absolutely the best! Some of the nicest people you will meet who always try and accommodate you however possible! The sites are easy to pull in and set up with full hooks ups! Water access is great and the dock is really nice. Our kids and pup have had a blast the last several times we have stayed! We absolutely love this place and plan to book many times with our family!

The campground was great to find, and set up camp. Nice to have all hookups and a nice picnic table. Alot of slopes so I wouldn't recommend for people with mobility issues. Felt safe. Beautiful dock. fishing and kayaking was awesome! Don't forget your bug spray!

Lakeshore Family Campground was such a great find. It was only 6 sites making it very comfortable. It was also spotless, plus their private deck on Lake Monticello was a huge bonus. The owners, Sarah and Brandon, clearly care about their guests. We'll definitely go back...

My husband and I booked a short getaway at LFC , to just get away for a couple days and relax, do nothing…. And that’s exactly what we did… Although there’s plenty to do if that’s what you are wanting to do, the dock and swimming area was extremely nice !! The Owners have really taken into consideration what campers would enjoy when they visit.. It was a Clean , Quiet and Peaceful Place, we even heard whippoorwills ( hadn’t heard one in a long time lol) We Would Recommend LFC And Give it a 10 Stars Rating ⭐️
