Lakepoint State Park Lodge

Not a lot of outlets in the bedrooms. The door to our cabin was very hard to open and close, and was standing open when we arrived, which is the reason I’m giving them a four instead of a five. No housekeeping, but that was not a problem for us. No Keurig maker, which was a bit of a problem because we had asked ahead and were told that we would have one. Full kitchen, with a myriad of cookware and utensils. No dishwasher. Fairly spacious and clean. Beautiful scenery.

I went for a Christmas day luncheon, so there is no rating on the rooms or lodge to speak of. All of the folks that were there were regulars and super nice..! Pastor Rick gave the invitation to Mom and I. We all had a great time. The grounds are beautiful with patios and docks. There is a lot of history at this location too.

Reserve one of the updated rooms. They are amazing and worth the slightly higher price. Staff is excellent! We got in late and interacted with several staff members. All greeted us as soon as they saw us. Exceptional customer service!

This is a great place to stay, they have rooms, cabins and more. Great access to the water and boat ramps. Lots of beautiful scenery and history

We had a wonderful time here, there was some bumps in the road when we got there but it was worked out. They seemed to have some issues with renovations. So our room was moved we were not notified/email/text till we arrived. The room we got was nice in the long run, we got to see some wild life. The lake was beautiful, and the restaurant in the lodge is nice too. But the employees is what made this place wonderful, from the front desk to housekeeping to the waitstaff at the restaurant. Wonderful people!
