Lake View Inn & Suites

The rooms were not good. They have mold and then on top of it a brown recluse coming off our bed. The chair and dresser was broke. The outlet to the tv is broken and just hanging. The shower did want to hold water cz it was broken. I am lucky my son, bf and I didn’t get bit by the spider. The bathroom door is like off the hinges. We will not be back here at all. Very nasty n ran down inside the rooms.

It took over 30 minutes to check in due to an issue with a non customer credit card system. The room I would call “fancy dingy”. It was like it would have been really nice in the 80’s. (This was the presidential suite.) The jacuzzi hot water didn’t work. I killed a spider in it as well. Brown water came out of the regular bathtub when I first started it. The room smelled like stale cigarettes. The deadbolt did not work and the chain to lock the door was not there (but the screw holes were). The TV did not work. I had to reset the router myself and finally got it working. Overall you get what you pay for but I expected the extra amenities I paid for to actually work and basic safety like being able to lock my door. Bed was comfy. I do not recommend. I will not be back.

Great Hotel. It’s by far one of the best w/ every category: It has spacious & clean rooms, price doesn’t break the bank, customer service is good & the location isn’t far from town or major businesses & is right on the outskirts of town so it has that nice country feel to it. It’s quiet & comfortable when compared to the other hotels around Florence.

No coffee maker in room, no coffee in lobby, owner couldn’t have cared less. Room needed maintenance, flooring was in rough shape and paint peeling on exterior room doors. Electronic key system worked intermittently. This property has a nice location adjacent to the river and it could be great with the right owner and some TLC.

At check in they want a $20 cash deposit make sure you have cash on you or you are sol... Went to use the pool the owners were out in it and locked the gate when they got out went at 6pm they were in it went back at 7 it was locked the pool sign says open till 10pm ... Went for their "complimentary" breakfast... No milk at 630am .. lady at front says ohh they drank it all already and could care less. There are no customers here to drink all the milk at 630 !!! Literally we were the only people here yesterday and only people here last night there's now one other car in the lot this morning ... Who drank the milk?! Giving 5 stars on location because the view is beautiful and right on the water . You definitely should read all the reviews before booking ... Rooms stink, who knows what sm
