Lake Rabun Bear Gap Cottage

I have very fond memories coming to Lake Rabun as a kid, now my family tries to make it to the Bear Gap Cottage every summer. From misty mornings on the paddle board, to sunny afternoons on the dock, to late night board game evenings, the memories made here make it worth the trip all the way from Colorado. Come for the serenity, stay for the memories that will last a lifetime. You won’t regret it.

Our family loves getting away to the Rabun Cottage as a way to disconnect and enjoy time together! Great amenities with a full kitchen and living space. Then “Disco Dock” is the best spot to hangout day or night! We always look forward to when we head back!

The quintessential lake house cabin nestled peacefully in the hillside. My girlfriend and I fell in love with this place during our stay here...Our favorite part was how the dock stays in the sun until almost 6pm!! (most of the other docks appeared to get shady due to the mountain blocking sun) The house is older but is in EXCELLENT shape. It truly embodies what you'd picture in your mind when you think of a cabin on the lake! We much prefer the vibe of this place up against the modern "mcmansions" that dot the lakeshore around it...Don't miss you chance to soak up the sun!

Great people. Great Lake. Great time. I’m always sad to leave and can’t wait to go back.
