Lake Point Motel

Not super fancy but I absolutely love this place. Great owners, kind, informative, they let you do your own thing. Perfect for a getaway. My lil home away from home when I need a break!!

My husband and I had to go to Marblehead for a funeral, so I called several places. My chat with Amy at The Lake Point Motel sealed the deal because of her personality and cooperation. Check-in was easy. We had Room#6, handicapped accessible with a ramp, 2 Queen beds, mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker,TV, AC, heater, grab bars, high toilet, and shower seat in bathroom.|We tend to be sticklers about cleanliness and were pleased that our inspection showed that the comfy beds and entire room were perfect. The Motel is quiet and safe. We enjoyed the sunrise over the rocky beach across the street. Breakfast at The Big Boppers in Marblehead and the lighthouse are not to be missed! We had a great stay. I can't say enough about the friendliness of the owner, Amy, and how she strived to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We had a two bedroom suite which was cute, comfortable and spacious. The hotel is in a very quiet part of a lovely town and is right across the street from a small beach. The sunrise was amazing every morning. We had never been to Marblehead but will definitely be back.

I was a little shocked by how small the one bed rooms were… but they were clean and furnished well for the space. The location was incredible, especially for sunrises. And the staff was amazing when we had an incident in our room. They were so quick to come in and fix the problem immediately… check in and out was a breeze and all around they made the stay even better.

Location, location, location. This hotel is a time warp back to my childhood in terms of being the type of motel I remember staying at when I was younger. The motel is directly across from Lake Erie with incredible sunrise views just walking across the street (or relaxing in the Adirondack chairs). The owners are very available and helpful with any questions and I would definitely go back. The only minor downside is that the rooms felt as though it had been a while since they'd been refreshed, but for the price and location that is easily overlooked (they were clean).
