I love this lake, would love to see the state invest a little more. It's a beautiful place and not far off the beaten path
We overnighted here on our return road trip to Texas/New Mexico from Florida. Sites are really a great value. The concrete pad made it easy to level the trailer. The views of the lake were spectacular. It only had 15 sites and most were empty during our stay. It feels really off the beaten path, yet only a short distance from the highway.
At first we were thinking, ooooh no! Where did the GPS take us? The road there was desolate and beautiful,but scary at the same time. The end result is simply beautiful 🤫
Clean, Affordable, Friendly, Beautiful and Safe. We love it as our stay over from the coast to Jackson trips. 🥰
We did not stay! No one answered or returned a call. Large RV’s DO NOT ATTEMPT. 2 mile narrow road with trees that can damage your vehicle A/C units. Rain caused road flooding and makes passing difficult. Small campsites. Low amp hook ups. Maybe 20 spots. Full. ***This is a beautiful place for small campers, lake fishing and quiet areas. Camping fees due upon arrival. LARGE VEHICLES and towing vehicles will have difficulty turning around if you enter the campers area.
