Lake Palestine RV Resort

Love it here. The view is amazing. They have pull through spots. Every spot has concrete. And they even have security cameras and wifi. Three dogs love the water front.

Didn’t do a detailed look however, the area is older. I was in search of a more up to date RV park like KOA which is not there. I will go back when I have more time. The lake is beautiful though!

Mostly long timers. It’s okay for a short term stay. Managers are very friendly and got us in on fairly short notice. Application of a lawn mower would go a long way! Lots of red ants…

This place is nothing like a resort! Place was not well kept, very old 80’s. Had to wait for trucks with boats to move to get into our parking lot space. Looks like they took and old trailer parking lot and turned it into places for RVs. They don’t show pics of the actual places where the RVs Park. Places by the lake are grass. There were looks like abandoned junk truck and trailers sitting everywhere with tall grass around them. The Grill was good, but very slow service. The staff was friendly. The lake was nice.

We never actually stayed there, we made a reservation and were told that no alligators have been seen in the Lake for years. We went to check out the Property and found a sign within 25' where we were to park our RV saying'Watch for alligators '. We were going to rent a large space because we had 2 Vehicles in addition to our RV. The only spots I've ever seen smaller, are in this park. The word resort chains to lead people to believe that this is a top notch place. This place was far from it. I learned never to say never, but it is highly unlikely that I will ever stay at this place. We lost our $50 deposit & feel like it should have been refunded due to the curcumstances.
