Lake Norman Motor Coach Resort

Giving this a 4 star review for one reason only - the sites are very close together, not much personal space. Aside from that, excellent campground. I believe they’re transitioning to fully-tiny home, but still had several RV sites while we were there. Propane and trash service is top notch, they’re on it quick! You also get your own little mailbox if you get a lot of mail. Staff are very kind and the location is unbeatable!

We stopped here to look at tiny homes offered for sale. The staff were courteous, friendly, and professional. We saw two of the choices available. Our time to look was limited, but we just had to stop. What we saw were not just sufficient, but totally acceptable. Check this place out!

During our 3-night stay, we noticed that the lake's water level was quite low, although we did enjoy views of the lake from our site. The community is gated, which gave us a sense of security. However, the spaces were a bit tight, and upon departure, we had to back our 38ft motorhome out of the gate since there wasn't a standard pull-out option. It's worth noting that this location feels more like a residential upscale trailer park than an RV resort. The concrete pads at each site were level and clean. There weren't many opportunities for walking pets, and there was no designated dog park on the premises. We found this location to be somewhat expensive for what it offered, although having full hookups / 50 amps was nice.

Please read this BEFORE you book your stay!It took me a while to decide if i wanted to post this but, I read reviews and I feel I would have appreciated an updated, honest one. I'm sorry i didnt dig deeper and read more but here is mine. Hopefully it will help someone, maybe even help the owner clean the place up and address some of the issues I've stated. It Could be nice, (and might have been,once) but it's Definitely NOT what I expect of a RESORT.|We called ahead, excited to find "MOTORCOACH RESORT"right On the lake! Happy, we booked almost 2 weeks! |BIG MISTAKE! What we found was a TINY HOUSE realtor that also reserved the few lots that didnt have Tiny Houses on them, to Motorcoaches! This whole place was terraced in Steep hills and it wasn't that big!!DON'T LET THE PICTURES FOOL

I really love this park and what they offer. The area is nice to visit and the staff was helpful in getting us in to our spot. A lot of reviews mentioned tight spots but it was more the configuration of the roads. None of the spots are on roads that circle around. That makes the spots tight to exit as you have to either make a tight turn or back out. If you are prepared for that, then this park is amazing and offers lots of equipment to use on the lake as well as boat rentals.
