Lake Norfork Resort

Took my family here for vacation and we were very disappointed. They advertise a hot tub on their billboard but in was broken and they didnt tell us until after we paid. We feel very ripped off. There is also no staff on the premises from 5pm-10am, so pretty much our entire stay. No towels near the pool or anyway to request them which made a very cold walk back to our room. Definitely not worth $120. I would have given it 1 star but the woman that checked us in was very nice and the room was clean.

First off the service was great, no complaints there. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The night we stayed, it was very highly priced. $135+ per room for the lake view. The only floor available was the first floor. Because the hotel is on a hill you still get a decent view. The rooms are 2 star Motel level quality with 3 star Hotel level cleanliness. The term resort is kind of misleading. If you could get a room for $60 a night it might be worth it. We didn’t go to the free breakfast because we were told it was cold items like cereal and toast. Since we didn’t stay a second night we didn’t use the pool so that is not a factor in this rating.

Wonderful experience. Clean spacious room, comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good. Loved the pool/hot tub. Awesome view of the lake and beautiful sunsets. Nice deck area outdoors overlooking the lake. Definitely recommend.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. But, the room and the beds were a different experience. The rooms are clean, but need some love. Our shower didn't work because the faucet was broken. Also in our first room the "closest" was on the floor... you'll see in the photos. The beds are clean, but hard as a rock. They did switch us to a different room where things weren't broken. It's a nice place, but we won't be back.

Positive: "" Negative: was informed was I paid that its paranormal and not a good place to stay. Checked room and had flies coming up from the bathroom sink. Very scary. Had to leave and rent a different hotel.
