Lake Minneola Inn

My wife and I stayed at the Inn for 2 nights on our C2C ride across FL. Very restful place on Lake Minneola. Had lunch at the Tiki Bar. Met some very interesting people at the bar and the Inn, which is 2 blocks off the trail.

Our second stay. Beautiful location on the lake. Appears well maintained. Staff very helpful. Didn't try Tiki Bar. Plenty of parking. Would have been all five stars except for room was warmer than we like and temp not controlled in room. Door was swollen/sticking. Understandable given the climate. Older couples and small children would have difficulty opening and closing.

I booked this Inn for my wife's birthday weekend, we wanted to stay near a vineyard we were visiting this weekend (lakeridge vineyard). I have to be sincere and say that the price was not low nor high, but nothing compared with the prices you get nowadays. ||I did not have high expectations about this, the general experience with Inn in Florida has not been very good, in terms of quality, facilities, location... and so on. ||I cannot be more surprised, what a great inn and what a wonderful experience for a weekend. ||The location is perfect between Minneola and Clermont, but also a lot of interesting towns nearby. Things to do and restaurants to visit, yes you have many options, all of them no more than 10 minutes drive. ||The building is an excellently well-maintained, old Floridian house

I don't think that I would enjoy a stay at the Inn. However, the tiki bar behind the Inn (on the water) was an enjoyable place to have a drink, an appetizer and enjoy the sunset. The food is cheap and just okay. We liked the basket of fries, but the wings seemed overpriced. The drinks are made with very poor ingredients. However the White Peach Sangria and tap beers were palatable.

Excellent stay in all ways. Great location on the lake and very close to downtown. Love the old Inn feel and grounds and tiki bar for pub food and drinks that were also very good. Best sunset view! Staff was friendly and kind. Room was very clean and beautifully appointed. Its the little things and they nailed it!!!
