Lake Mason Lodge

This was a wonderful stay! Our family of 14 people stayed comfortably within the 7 rooms! The outside seating and courtyard were a wonderful addition! We loved walking to the lake, sitting outside and roasting ‘smores each night. We appreciated both the closeness and distance from the Dells. Close enough to drive in for the day, far enough to not have a lot of traffic or worry about the kids playing outside. We are highly considering staying here again!

I’ve booked the Lake Mason Lodge for an annual ski trip with friends for 5 years, and we always have a great time! The lodge comfortably sleeps 25+ people, and the kitchen has everything we need to cook large meals. The host Amanda and her family are so friendly and welcoming. This year they added a cute outdoor grilling area, we’ll have to come back in the summer to use it!

The owner of the motel cancelled our reservation a week before the 4th of July weekend. They had no contact information and when he finally called he gave the excuse his ex wife double booked and this was not the first time. We then had to scramble less than a week before the 4th to find a place to stay because we had already rented a boat and other things that were non refundable. I then looked online at other websites and this place is still listed as available for those dates and are able to still book. The owners are completely unprofessional if you are planning to stay here I would think otherwise. Would not trust this place because of the owners. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Hey Wayne, The same thing happened to my Aunt. So what we understand is that the owners used to be married and are now divorced. The woman rents on Air Bnb and the man rents it on Vrbo. She claims she received the property but then how is he allowed to post it on other sites. We actually had a huge group that went there which is a 3 hour drive for us. When we arrived she already had it rented. We ended up having to turn around and go home. My Aunt had to wait 3 weeks to get her money back. Both parties knew about the double booking. So unprofessional, I understand things happen in life but you should fix the problem cause it causes problems for people trying to enjoy a family vacation. Their site even had pictures of the two of them still. Update your site! I would give 0 stars

Affordable, peaceful, beautiful place to stay. It’s so nice to have the lake so close. Nice fishing and swimming. Made for a great vacation with a commons area for visiting and games at the end of the day. Will definitely visit again. Super friendly owners, couldn’t ask for better hosts. Earned ever bit of 5 stars
