Pleasant campground with level sites. Most of the camper pads seem to be 50 feet long. Clean restrooms and bathhouse. The new welcome center looks nice from the outside but I wasn't able to check it out given the hours it was open didn't mesh with my stay. If you have an interest in canal history, this is a perfect place to camp. There are hiking trails accessible from the campground. Bald cypress and sweet gum trees share the grounds with campers. Play ground equipment for kids and adults including a concrete corn hole set up. Three waterfront camper cabins available to rent.
My family and I love this park. We come here at least once a season to enjoy camping. With family just down the road we also enjoy boating. We have even caught a Bald Eagle sitting in a tree waiting to spot it's next meal. Lorami SP is always family friendly and a great place to enjoy with your family and friends.
Loved camping here. We did tent non-electric sites, which are nicely tucked away and facing the water. Good hiking trail to take kids on, rented a canoe from the campground office, got to see their brand new nature center (near the group camp sites). Overall a good experience.
Came back in 2 wks from 1st trip.campground was great, nice lots on water. 2nd trip was great, beautiful place to kayak and birdwatching. Trails need a little attention. But overall was awesome, will definitely go back again.
The place is nice, but it was better 2 and 3 years ago. The camp hosts then were a lot nicer and they made breakfast for donations. The new ones seem to do a lot less.
