Lake Inn -Buckeye Lake

Kinda run down. The shower drain didn't work, on TWO rooms. When i checked in the lady was nice. But when I checked out the attendant was sleeping in the sideroom and would not wake up dispite my hollering, so i left the card on the counter and left. Bed was good. You get what you pay for!

The place is old and basic (soap but not shampoo, etc) No breakfast. We had a broken sconce by one bed, and the clerk said a recent guest broke it, sheets probably not proper fit for bed. The bathroom door would not shut without full weight. But it was inexpensive and clean, water was hot. And service was friendly.

This place is better than camping outdoors. The AC works, the hot water worked, the electricity worked. I didn't notice any bed bugs, the room was dry (vs camping in the rain and mud). There was a fridge/freezer and microwave. BUT, place smelled of smoke, some pretty sketchy people hanging around, the bathroom had that like 20 year baked in grime that only a remodel will fix. If you've made the mistake of sleeping at circus circus in Vegas it's better than that but not by much.

Not the cleanest place. My room was infested with house flies. I hit l tried twice to switch rooms at the lobby and no one was available so I just left the keys and drove 2 hours back home. Tried to get a refund from Hotels.com, but the owners declined the request. Gross.

It's a good cheap motel. Id recommend it. It's right by the lake too. Also I think that video was sent to the wrong person because it's on here now 🤣 it was a parody of welcome to the jungle about Fairfield county jail. It wasn't even the good one.🤣
