Lake Holiday Enterprises

I decided to stay here for two nights after passing by on my way home from France Park in Logansport. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. The place does not live up to its own rules—quiet hours are not enforced, and apparently golf carts are exempt from the posted speed limits. On top of that, the park manager (or whoever he is—you know who you are) is extremely rude. He has no basic communication skills and instead of addressing issues respectfully, he comes in heated, yelling, and being unnecessarily aggressive. A simple, polite request would go a long way, but that’s not how things are handled here. Needless to say, this was a horrible place to stay for what was supposed to be a quick, relaxing vacation. Racist and prejudice staff working the front gate. Poor customer service skills. I drove slowly past the front gate and showed my pass. Seconds later staff drove up to the beach picnic area shouting at us very unprofessionally and demanded we leave and never come back. We spent almost 300.00 dollars for a one night stay in a trashy so called delux unit that smelled like sewer but still managed our stay. We were never disruptive. My family is mainly Hispanic. We all felt so confused as to why we were treated so unfairly just because I didn’t make a complete stop at the front gate. Have been renting chalets here for years. I love the fact that you don't have to spend money on eating out. I don't mind bringing my own linens and towels. I always leave the place cleaner than what I get it. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

I've been going to Lake Holiday for over 15 years and I've never experienced such hatred from the ranger. He only listens to his side of the story and no one else. I see they are hiring again?? Not surprised. If he treats paying customers like trash I can only imagine how he treats the employees. He talks down to people and threatens customers. I was informed that I was banned from the camp and if I set foot at the gate I would be arrested. Until this day, I still do not know why. I was never told personally or given an explanation. The front gate employee was kind enough to give me a warning. I feel bad for the employees who have to work for him. I've witnessed him yell at kids and other people of color. Very cute area, kind visitors and helpful staff. Very clean bathrooms, and cute little store on property. Cannot wait to visit again.
