Lake Hilbert Campground

This is a very nice campground and the owner is super. The sites are large and nicely shaded; everything is very well kept up. The lake and beach is nice, with a new playground, new pickleball and basketball courts.

Friendly staff, great little spot to get hot sandwiches or icecream at the lodge. Bathrooms and showers a little rough. Most seasonal sites are well cared for and tuckes away except for the dilapidated seasonal rv next to the Gaga ball pit. Could use a garbage can as there, was trash next to the pit each morning. Great location next to the county park along the lake. Would definitely visit again.

We researched many campgrounds in Wisconsin. One of the last few we looked at was Lake Hilbert Campground in Fence, Wisconsin(near Goodman, WI) We then chose this as the location to place our camper on a seasonal site.||They have large sites with full hook-ups. Store/restaurant that is open Thursday - Sunday. Great breakfast and Friday night fish-fry! I can't say it enough that everyone in the campground is friendly & they treat you like family! Very unusual for someone to drive by without the acknowledgment "wave".||This is an ATV friendly campground with access to the ATV trails in northern Wisconsin. First time in the north woods, quaint little campground , lake is very pretty, fun to ride atvs around .

Nicely located campground that's UTV friendly and just off the trail. Large sandy beach in walking distance. Clean showers and bathrooms.
