Lake Erie Lodge

This is a fisherman’s motel. It was a good place to lay your head and sleep. Rooms are outdated but seemed very clean. I’d argue it was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have stayed in. At night there are no exterior lights so it was very dark and hard to find the room. Over all was good, air conditioner worked, was clean and had hot water. Good location to be close to the marina.

The place is quiet, large area for parking, rooms could definitely use some updating. My husband is staying here for work. The water has a weird almost sulfur smell, and the shower head did not spray like a normal one. The bathroom was really clean. The people that work here are friendly. About $260 a week. The rooms have a mini fridge, microwave, small coffee pot, a chair, tv with about 20 channels. Perfectly fine for a nights stay if you are in the area... Not luxurious but affordable. There is also a bar. Maumee Bay State Park, Ottowa national wildlife refuge, Metzger Marsh Wildlife Area, and Mallard Club Wildlife Area are all fairly close by. I would come back here.

Excellent little place close to the marina. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed the little microwave and mini fridge. It’s an excellent place to stay I would recommend! A little small but perfect for spending the night!!!

I stayed at Lake Erie Lodge in mid- July. This family run Lodge was very welcoming, with friendly and accommodating staff. I was traveling solo and felt very safe. The room was clean and the outdoor pool was clean and refreshing. The location is so convenient to several attractions.

Reserved a king room for our night in advance, arrived and found out at check-in they ”ran out”. Still needed a place to stay for the night so we took what was left, and the room was incredibly dirty. Smelled of urine & cigarettes, had dead and live bugs, sheets were stained and dusty. Didn’t seem like anyone bothered to clean it in a while. This place needs major work done to ensure rooms are clean and comfortable! I’ve stayed at motels better taken care of than this.
