Lake Chalet Motel & Campground

Lake chalet is absolutely one of my favorite places to go camping. The grounds are always kept up. The cabins and tent areas are all perfect and always clean. I love the beach. The water is always nice. The fishing is great. It’s always stocked. We’re always catching a ton of fish and the kids love it. It’s close to home, but you still get that outdoor camping experience and the owners are absolutely fabulous and just the nicest people plus so accommodating. It really is my happy place to just go for a weekend to get away and relax by the water.

Kiki and Ron, the owners are awesome! They always try to accommodate the guests. We have been going there for over 20 years. First we would stay 1 night. Then 2 nights and next year we will plan for 3 nights. We love these folks!

A peaceful and charming getaway! I had a great experience at Lake Chalet Motel and Campground. The property is quiet, clean, and well-maintained — perfect for a relaxing escape into nature. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in easy and stress-free. The lake views are beautiful, and I loved how close everything was to outdoor activities. Whether you’re into kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing by the water, this spot has something for everyone. The cabin/motel setup was cozy and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It’s not luxury, but it has that classic, welcoming feel that makes you want to return. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful place to unwind without breaking the bank!

Met there was family and friends. We reserved four campsites and a room inside. We had a wedding to attend to and the owners were very accommodating. We had an outstanding check-in experience waiting for us as we are running late. The pavilion was wonderful for our reception. The campsites were plenty of room and had 30 amp hook up. We backed in 245 foot class a RVs and 2/5 wheel Campers no problems at all. The owners were extremely friendly. The place was very clean and neat. It was a very cozy and family friendly atmosphere. The little lake that they’re on is beautiful. Could not recommend any higher. Look forward to visiting again if we’re in the area.
