Lake Arthur Campmeeting

We had such a blast at camp meeting this year! I'm so excited to see everyone next year! What a pleasant experience! I had so much fun! Thank you for accepting me, a stranger, into your community with such kindness and grace. Lake Arthur now holds a special place in my heart. :)

Went there to cook a Beef Stew, With Potatoes, Carots, And Green Peas. For A Women's Retreat At Lake Arthur Campground. Had Enough Food To Feed 150 People.

Since its been cooler weather, we've had to have heat. Ours quit working, and we found the filters we're caked. Cleaned them, still wouldn't work. Had to move to another room at midnight. I guess the rooms are used Mainly in summer, so furnaces had not been maintained. Beautiful views of lake, peaceful surroundings. Basketball court, large dining hall has covered walkway from dining hall to tabernacle, which has glass all around.

Great Camp ground for many years. An amazing place for family and friends to get away and have fun in a simpler environment from today’s technology influenced world. All with Beautiful cabins and peaceful wharf. 😁👍
