I was expecting a better campground, we got there and there was no one there to check us in sign said they were on lunch :/ Second, we checked our site out, and there was someone already on it. We ended up getting a better site. Men and women public bathrooms are very dirty. I've never seen any rangers patrolling the campground. Beautiful Sunsets. The water was nice. Was on a walk and came across some smoke coming from this wooden pole. I was going to tell the front desk, but there was no one there it was closed, so we put it out. The dumpstation was out of order.

Family reunion didn't stop until 6am while the 4 of us needed sleep. The bathrooms not cleaned once in a 12 hour stay. The women's ran out of toilet paper and the men's well id rather dig a hole in the woods id say. The view of the lake is great the ground are great but the upkeep has been lost to daytime picnicking only in my opinion.

Loved it here. Spacious camp sites, beautiful lake, pet friendly, abundant wildlife.

Great county park! Stayed here one night - site 49, Saturday on Memorial Day weekend. We drove up day of and Pleasantly surprised they had 5 sites open. Big park area, great sunset beach view. Bathrooms are clean but dated. True about it takes 5 mins to get hot water from shower. Looks like they built a new shower building (not open yet). See picture - current building in front, new building in the background. Some loud music from some campers during the day but it quieted down nicely after 9am. Friendly staff. $10 for delivered bundle of wood. Our site is backed up to S Lake Antoine Rd and road noise was fine. The other road is much busier

Nice large spaces, would be perfect if it had sewer hookups. Showers could use a little cleaning.
