Ladd Pond Cabins and Campground, LLC

Absolutely recommend to stay here! We stayed in both the cabins and their other house in Colebrook, everything was very clean, very nice. Owners are fantastic, we are from PA and never been around here, he showed us around their huge property and how to access trails from the cabins on our snowmobiles. The property is absolutely stunning, the hosts hospitality is the BEST I've ever experienced! We for sure will be back and will for sure recommend anybody to stay here! Thanks for all the hard work and going above and beyond for us during our stay!

Excellent people to deal with. Carl and Tami were by far the most hospitable cabin owners I have dealt with. We were welcomed on our snowmobile trip with Carl showing us the cabin and where everything was, then showed us the route to the main snowmobile trail in detail so we wouldn’t get lost. To top it off the morning we were leaving my truck wouldn’t start so Carl let me use his tools, heater, jump pack and extension cords to get me going! For what the cabins are they are a great value and I will be staying at Ladd Pond again.

Small, very quaint. Off the beaten path, private, serene. Not a fancy resort but such a peaceful and gorgeous very natural setting. If this type of situation is appealing to you, this is a real gem and amazing find. Quite friendly people.

Before I get blasted for this review, just know we tried to rectify with the campground directly. I was willing to let everything go and simply not return, had our bill been corrected. We rented two cabins for one night each, and both were supposed to have two beds. One cabin (Wolf Den) had a queen and a pull-out bed, while the other only had a queen. We had four men and one woman in our group, which is why we specifically confirmed ahead of time that there would be four beds total. Unfortunately, one person ended up sleeping on the floor. The cleanliness and condition were also disappointing. I found a dead mouse floating in the toilet upon arrival. I understand we were in the woods, I handled it by flushing it. We had a great mini vacation here. Tami is an amazingly gracious hostess. Her communication prior to our arrival was a welcome change from other places we have stayed. Upon our arrival Tami greeted us and even invited us to drop down to say hi after we were settled in. Our cabin was cozy and comfortable. The room was clean and had everything that we could want or need. Staying here as we hiked for a couple of days was a great experience.
