Ladd Brook Inn

Owner is very accommodating. Worked with me on getting my room key very late, because my flight had been delayed twice. I was sure to keep in touch when notified of the delays. Older rooms, but very well kept. I slept great! Breakfast was delicious. I suppose you could call it continental, but there was so much more. Was just passing through, but can't beat the price and hospitality. Forever grateful for the owner/staff 😁

Great motel, also fits the budget! We were just looking for a place to crash overnight for our ski trip. We booked this place as it was closest available to our ski resort as it had a neutral review , but we were pleasantly surprised by this motel. Sheets, room and bathroom was clean and that's all I expect. We had to leave very early and the hotel manager arranged super early breakfast for us which was very nice of him! Would definitely recommend this place!

Do not stay here at all! My family was staying in a room and the floors were absolutely disgusting. My sister walked around the place barefooted for about 15-20 minutes and her feet looked like they were dipped in charcoal. I was wearing socks the entire night after that. We didn't have an awful room, if you don't count the floors, so I didn't see any mold that other reviews were talking about, but it's very possible that other rooms have mold. Also, my heart goes out to the District 8 people, but with them all staying there, it makes people feel unsafe and give the place a gross look. So, if you aren't a cautious person, I'm telling you now, LOCK. YOUR. CAR. Also, there was no fridge in our room, so we had to go down by a local store and buy cooler boxes and ice bags. And the furniture?

Horrible Experience. Arrived at 8pm. Had to wait 30 minutes outside for person to arrive to check me in. At that time I was informed I couldn't have the room I reserved. I had to still drive to get my son, so I took the room they had available. That was a mistake. I then drove to pick up my son in Pittsfield, we got into the Ladd Brook at 11:00PM. Very dirty. I had to clean the toilet before we could use (see pictures, before and after) Supposed to get 2 queen beds, got 2 double beds. Supposed to get a no smoking room, burn mark on blanket (see picture). The shower was dirty, so did not take a shower the next morning, afraid of what I would have to encounter (see picture). There in no breakfast service as stated (though by this time I would not have eaten there anyway).Staff was difficult

Very nice stay. Our room at least (Room 5) was nice and clean, with comfortable bed and chairs. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the continental breakfast was tasty - lots of food choices. Beautiful view of the Taconic range too!
