La Vista Denver

Had a really great stay at La Vista. You can tell it’s under new ownership — everything feels refreshed and dialed in. The staff was genuinely welcoming and helpful from check-in to checkout. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully updated without losing that cool retro motel vibe. Big bonus: the café and cocktail bar are legit. Great coffee in the morning and a killer cocktail program at night — not something you expect from a roadside motel. Definitely one of the better hidden gems in Denver. I’ll be back.

Such a charming motel. Visited with my family and wanted to stay somewhere unique and La Vista was perfect! The motel recently underwent a meticulous renovation and everything is very cozy and hip and spotlessly clean. We stayed in a suite and there was plenty of room for the four of us. Great cocktails downstairs, perfect place to unwind. We will definitely be back!

Have been here to the new coffee and cocktail lounge. Great service, intimate energy and a community feel to the downstairs space which often hosts events. Exactly what this neighborhood has been missing!! My drink was excellent and was delighted to find shots of ginjinha (Portuguese liquor served in chocolate shot glasses). Has a sort of hideaway energy and the decor and furniture capture the nostalgia of the motel heyday.

I spent a day at La Vista Motel in January 2026, and wow, what an incredible addition to the Colfax neighborhood. The rooms are so thoughtfully & artfully designed. You totally feel like you're in a retro travel lodge, but with every modern amenity you need for a comfortable stay. The staff is all so friendly & helpful, and the coffee shop & bar is a cozy place to work or hang out with delicious drinks & snacks. I'd highly recommend La Vista to anyone traveling & looking for an authentic Denver experience, or to Denverites looking for a fun staycation. We'll definitely be back!

This motel is like a midcentury modern dream! Clean artistic and just cool as heck! The coffee bar is incredible and I really want them to come do my house again! We loved our room made for amazing photo ops as there was like a full mural over the bed. Really happy someone is bringing these older motels back to what they’re supposed to be! Excited to try some of their events!!
