La Roma Motel

My latest visit to this place left me with some mixed feelings. While I was impressed by the spotless rooms, I was also really annoyed by this weird smell that seemed to permeate the air, especially at night. The high price for a single night's stay didn't help matters either. On the bright side, the location was superb.

How is this 3 stars and above?||Arrived for a two night stay and at first arrival the ceiling light was not working but figured it out much later through the dusty and rusty ceiling fan. The fan blades are warped from humidity; the floor is dirty by discovering black brown foot mark when wiping the floor outside the shower. The dresser drawer are all loose, no AC and an earwig crawled on me at night. ||||The mold in the shower grout and the nasty dust in the bathroom ceiling vent says it all. What used to be a business of St. Basile for well over 40 years is no more of the basic standards.||||I truly hope their restaurant does not have the same issues for this would be surely health code violations.||||Sorry La Roma but you have seen the last of this writer.

Lovely little spot. Very outdated, but really sweet family owned business.

Easy stop off- Frindly staff and clean rooms. No nonsense in checking in and checking out was quick and no-nonsense. The on site restaurant was also delicious.

A wonderful experience. Everyone from the check-in to the waitress are supper friendly. The waitress is informative she explained the menu and made excellent suggestions. The chief inquired how the food experience was It was exceptionally well pepaired and the taste was mouth watering. My wife and I recommend it without question
