La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Walker - Denham Springs

We were greeted with a welcome and a big smile. Check in was a breeze! We found our room clean and chilled by the fantastic air conditioner. The location is right off rt 12 and within a short walk of two restaurants and a gas station/ convenience store. With many others a short drive away. The bed were soft and comfy. Plenty to watch on t.v. Hot water in the shower. Highly recommend you try this hotel. Definitely a good value!

The first room we were set in, we walked up and opened the door and my husband took a few steps in, I stepped in the doorway and said "Nope! Someone was smoking in here!" We went down and they were friendly and considerate and changed us to a new room and that room smelled good and clean. Rest of the couple nights we were there was great.

This is a smoke free building. I didn't see anyone smoking, nor did our room smell like someone had smoked here. Everything was clean. All the staff are friendly. The free breakfast could be better. You can have eggs, sausage patties and waffles you cook yourself. They have apples, oatmeal packets and yogurt in a refrigerator. It wasn't like the ole Shoney's Breakfast Bar, but my 3 year old granddaughter thought it was the best thing ever.

After a long day of driving, I decided to skip the hustle and bussle of my trip by turning off in a quiet part of the trip....away from Baton Rouge. Although a busy place, La Quinta here was a super surprise! The hotel was nicely kept, staff were very friendly and efficient and very quiet! Also a surprise, I could walk to a convenience store, had restaurants and a gas station adjacent to the property! Also, an easy on |/off Route 12. I liked it so much I stayed here on my way back home!

Stayed several days at this hotel while on business nearby. Overall a good experience. Hotel was convenient to interstate and local business's. Room was clean. Decent breakfast each morning. Staff was very nice to deal with. Got an upgraded room as a platinum member. I have zero to complain about this hotel.
