La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lumberton

The service was great! The price was reasonable! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The breakfast was good, and so was the coffee! Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff were very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the future.

Positive: Location was good. Staff was friendly. Negative: Tons. Workout room had cable machine inoperable, treadmill did not work. TV in workout room on top of treadmill. Elevator did not work; they say they are fixing it but I cans see from previous reviews it has been like that for months. wifi no good etc

This place is HORRIBLE! I would have rather slept in my car in the parking lot. From the moment we walked through the front door I knew we were in trouble. The first thing we saw was an “under renovation” sign on the front door. I immediately knew it would be a disaster (and it was), we check in and walked up to our room, the elevator was not working…my husband who has had 2 knee replacements had to walk down a long hallway and up 2 flights of stairs. We got to the room door. The 1st room we had the door wouldn’t open, so I had to go back down and ask for another room. The lady at the front desk gave me a key to the room next to the one we couldn’t enter. We open the door thinking “ok, maybe its not so bad after all” but we were quickly taken aback when my husband sat on the couch with bla

The heat in our room wasn't working, the key card didn't work and we had to get it re-set several times. The AC vent was filthy and the toilet seat was broken (my husband fixed it). The sheets were scratchy. I told the clerk instead of switching rooms that we were going to check out a day early and she said that we would be refunded. Then the next day at checkout, the clerk said that we would have to go through Expedia for the refund. Very unsatisfactory.

I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment with the conditions my family and I experienced during our stay at your hotel from December 26 through December 28. We have stayed at this property numerous times in the past, and while we have unfortunately noticed a steady decline in quality, this most recent stay was unacceptable and left us deeply dissatisfied. Upon arrival, we were informed that we should not stay on the second floor because the elevator was not functioning for that level, requiring guests to carry luggage up and down the stairs.
