La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston Cypress

The hotel is beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean. The downside is arriving at midnight after driving 5 hours, scheduling a late checkout and being woken up at 10:30am, before standard 11am checkout time by the cleaning staff banging on the door. Called the front desk at least 20 times with no answer. Called the general manager and the front desk picked up? The only explanation was that someone forgot to write it in a book? As a traveling diamond member, I’ll think twice before booking this property again. The warning ⚠️ signs written on luggage carts that you will be charged $50 if not returned in 30 minutes should have been a clue.

Excellent stay. Conveniently located for our needs. Clean. Great service by front desk employee, Ms. Ronnie, who went the extra mile to help solve issues with our reservation. We are grateful and will return in a few months.

Positive: Very clean, no frills hotel. Staff was friendly; room was clean; bed comfortable; air-conditioner blew cold air; good variety of food at the complimentary breakfast; ideal location just off the freeway with everything you could think of 5-10 minutes away. Negative: Nope!

I rate my hotel experience here 10/10. The staff was amazing, common areas were constantly being clean and the breakfast was hot delicious. Linens were soft and comfy. The indoor swimming pool was my favorite to say the least.

I've stayed here a few times same with my guests and honestly it's a really nice hotel, they have a decent gym, a heated indoor pool and the breakfast they serve in the morning is good, the coffee is great and the waffles are amazing, the bar is small but they can still make the drinks you want, there's a really good employee y'all should ask for on y'all's next stay, her name is Tehra and she was really sweet and nice, she made our stay a lot better and more comfortable!
