La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clifton/Rutherford

I had a wonderful stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clifton/Rutherford and couldn’t be happier with my experience. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. You can really tell they take pride in the property. What truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding service. The staff consistently checked in to make sure everything was okay and went above and beyond to be helpful. Everyone I interacted with was professional, kind, and genuinely welcoming. I was also able to bring my dog, which made a huge difference for me, and the hotel was incredibly pet-friendly while still maintaining a calm and clean environment. Positive: The staff in the breakfast room were very nice and friendly.. Negative: I don’t like that my room has a door to the other room ( of course close ) I can hear the noise from next room .

We only stood for one night. The hotel's appearance is what you'd expect from LaQuinta, and the breakfast is always spot on. The staff is friendly and helpful. My only disappointment was where my room was (right by the elevator and ice machine), so getting uninterrupted sleep was not an option due to crowd noise. The bathroom was smaller than I expected, not ideal for everyone, and the bedframe was very noisy.

Overall solid stay. Kids loved the pool. Little deceiving because photos showed a hot tub but there wasnt a hot tub. The last night of our visit there was no hot water as well as the next morning. I when I brought it up to the front desk upon checking out about the situation. Got a side eyed comment " yep we know, working on it." Maybe a text message alert since they already have our phone number on file to inform the people staying. There was no emotion or empathy from the lady at the front desk. It seems like I burdened her when I told her. We did not know if it was an isolated situation or a whole hotel thing. Just a little rude but I am sure I wasn't the first person to say it so she was probably done hearing about. Just maybe a sorry to hear about it or yes we are sorry for the situat

The staff are great! This is my 2nd stay in less than 3 months, and both times I was v pleased. On previous visits to the area, we've stayed at the MC Autograph bc of proximity to family. Granted, that is a boutique hotel, so in a way, I'm comparing apples to oranges, but I would choose the La Quinta over that hotel every time! At the MC, you don't even hv access to ice! You hv to call the front desk, then wait for it, then tip. You hv to go to the restaurant to buy a cup of coffee, and parking is off-site. Here, at the LA Quinta, which is only a few more minutes away, the staff are lovely, everything is convenient (ice on every floor, coffee in your room and in the lobby, a huge free parking lot,...), the workout room is clean and has more than enough to maintain most workouts/fitness le
