Customer Reviews
- Cleanliness: |Typical 2-star hotel treatment. Faint cigarette smell.||- Noise: |Walls are thin. We could hear neighbor’s TV.|A couple was arguing loudly in the hallway at midnight. Hotel didn’t do anything about it.||- Pet policy: |THE WORST. Here’s what they state on their hotel policy, |“Pet Allowed - 2 pets max. Cats and dogs only. 75 lbs or less per let”, |“Fees - Non-refundable 25 USD nightly for up to 2 pets.” |We stayed there with our 2 dogs for 1 night. Each dog weights 50 lbs. Instead of charging us 25 USD “for up to 2 pets”, they charged us $25 EACH, so $50 total. We asked for the manager, who firmly denied their policy. “I see what you’re saying, but that’s not what we do here,” he said.||Had we known the inflated pet fees, we would have stayed somewhere nicer that allowed pe
Positive: It was quiet Negative: The air conditioning dripped all night and I could not use the pool or hot tube. The pool was very dirty and they did not clean it until the morning I left. Pool opened at 10 check out was 11. I will not stay here again
If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. From the moment we arrived, the experience was terrible. The room was infested with roaches, which made it extremely uncomfortable and unsanitary. It was clear that proper cleaning and maintenance were not a priority. The beds and sheets had visible blood stains on them, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel and honestly disturbing to see. The breakfast that was provided was very poor quality and not fresh, with limited options that didn’t seem properly prepared. On top of that, the staff members had rude and unprofessional attitudes. Instead of being helpful, they seemed annoyed whenever we asked simple questions or brought up concerns about the room. To make matters even worse, when it was time to check out, they attempt
This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed here on our cross country trips. Great stop with our 2 small dogs. Good grassy area to walk the dogs by the parking lot. They used to charge $25 for dogs now it’s per pet. It shouldn’t matter if it’s one or two dogs. Clean room, comfortable bed and reclining chair. Friendly, helpful staff. Not luxurious but you wouldn’t expect it to be at this price point. Excellent Indian Restaurant in walking distance - Samosa King. We’ll definitely stay here again.
A great hotel that's really close to the Metra for easy commute to the city. The A/C is fantastic for those of us who are hot natured. They are pet friendly so I greatly appreciate being able to take dog with me on my Chicago trips. I wish the walls were a bit thicker though, if you have a loud neighbor it can be somewhat disappointing. Overall fantastic hotel for quick/short trip into the city with out having to deal with parking/traffic.
