La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Buena Park

I recently stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Buena Park and had a very pleasant experience overall. The check‑in process was quick and efficient, and the front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions about the area. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a good bed, fresh linens, and reliable air conditioning, making it easy to relax after a long day. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus, offering a simple but satisfying selection that helped me start the day without needing to find food elsewhere. The location is convenient for visiting local attractions and getting on and off major roads, yet the hotel itself felt safe and reasonably quiet. The staff was pleasant. The breakfast needs more fresh and hot offerings. The stay was good but could have been better with cosmetic fixes like bleach spots on the carpet outside elevators on 7th floor, large water damage spots on the ceiling and the jacuzzi was not working.

Positive: Nothing. Poor staff, poor quality, poor cleanliness Negative: From the rude front desk agent at check in to the grumpy kitchen/breakfast staff who immediately took food items away promptly at 0859, reminded you as soon as you entered that breakfast was closing and several times thereafter, to the disgusting bath

Rooms are very large and have microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge. The front staff is very helpful, kind and always available. The location is great, I had business to conduct locally and there are many restaurants, coffee shops and shopping in near proximity. The free breakfast is quite accommodating with Bagels, cereals, Juices, and waffle maker. Small but convenient. Small drive to Huntington beach where they have a Wednesday farmer's market and a small walk to Fred's and Dukes for delicious food.

Workers were really nice and attentive. Rooms were clean. My only complaints are the bath/shower could use some updating. It was peeling, stained and the hot/cold plate was loose so it was hard to tell what was hot and cold. My last complaint is the spa at the pool was yellow and smelled bad. Other than that it was a nice stay.
