La Lakes Resort & Motel

Can be tricky to negotiate the entrance while towing a trailer behind a big rig, especially after dusk, but the views are incredible. The seasonal folks are all super friendly, too!

We had a lakeside campsite for our travel trailer and launched our kayak just a hundred feet away. The island offers many opportunities for exploring nature by car, on foot or by canoe or kayak. Of course the waters around the island provide great opportunities formal kinds of boaters, some of the best sailing anywhere.

WOW Wow Wow Thank you Gay for all of your help with getting my family settled in. I was up here on work but you made it so I couldn't even tell. Thanks again. We are looking forward to sailing up that way next year.
