La Bonita Inn & Suites

Hotel located in a somewhat isolated area, but they make great efforts to ensure guests’ comfort, especially for those who come here to work. A big thank you to Berry Molina, one of the housekeepers, who is very respectful, helpful, and professional. She made my stay much more enjoyable. Her work truly deserves recognition.

I arrived late at night and called the number listed on the door. The person who answer went on a rant about it being late and he needed his sleep. I apologized for the lateness and explained nothing on the reservation stated I needed to check-in by a certain time. If it had, I would not have booked since I knew my flight was landing late and I had to drive for about an hour to get to the hotel. The person on the phone refused to let me check in and hung up on me. I called back and explained, I am a woman traveling alone and there is not another hotel near by. I felt unsafe and asked him to let me check-in. NOPE! He left me out in the middle of nowhere, with nowhere to go. If you reserve with this hotel, do not count on being able to check-in. Bed had cockroachs in it. Coworker only got one on video, but there were multiple. Plus the dead ones in the corner. And there was urine on the floor with ants in it. Had requested to transfer to crane location because it is much cleaner and professional. (Not to say the front desk lady was not professional) but the manager could use a course on customer service. Really has a temper problem cussing us out for requesting to transfer not even asking refund because we didn't want to sleep with roaches crawling on us. He straight up dared me to post a video so here yall go.

This is a horrid establishment! I reserved a room and arrived after my flight landed at 11 pm in Midland, then drove for an hour. I called the number on the door to check in. I was told it was too late and the person wanted to sleep. I was never told in writing, or otherwise, I had to check in by a certain time. They refused to let me in my room, which I paid in advance for. I was sent away at almost 1 in the AM with no room in the middle of nowhere. I am now a woman sleeping in her car with nowhere ⁰to go. If you reserved a room, don't count on someone being there to let you in!

This Jose property manager is the most rude, arrogant, obnoxious, unpleasant, ect.ect. need I say more. The actual owner needs to send this guy to customer relations courses or send him walking to the unemployment line, before he runs their business to the ground. I presume that he thinks he can treat customers poorly just because he is running the only motel in town. The rooms are filthy, phone didn't work, furniture/chair broken, no smoke alarms in place, not even a pen & paper to wright with, lol. The whole place is a waste of money. Keep in mind people there alot of places you can stay now in town, do the research it will be worth it!!!
