Great dispersed campground right off the road! A little noisy with cars passing but was totally fine overall. Got a spot right on the river and they all had picnic tables, fire pit, and bear locker

Beautiful location on the Hobak River! We spent five nights there. Easy access off of 89. Amazing fishing. It rained the first night, however, the rest of the time was amazing sunny cloudless. Temps were down into the 50s in the evenings 80s during the day. Just an idyllic place to spend a week fishing fishing and camping. You will probably want to bring bear spray so you’re as safe as possible. There are bare boxes for your food. There are no RV hook ups but there is a freshwater pump for drinking water. Each site has its own fire pit and picnic table as well as a standing grill, like the ones you see in a park.

Cheap. Nice stop. Small. 8 sites. Not busy. Very quiet at the time of our visit. No service if you have AT&T. $15 No hook ups. Bathroom. Grills at sites. Paved. Semi-leveled spots. Fire pit. Able to gather firewood that doesn't require chopping etc. River runs by. Saw deer and ground squirrels.

On the website. It says $12 a night. When you get there, the post on each campsite says $15 a night. Confusing and which one is a lie? You can go down to the river and at night you can hear it from your tent. Very calming.

We didn't camp here but stopped to stretch. The view was great with a nice wide shallow stream running along the campsites.
