Knights Inn Crockett

Well what can I say the beds are hard and cheap. No head boards. Sheets weren't actually clean white and very thin. We had no curtains in our room so at night it still look like daytime with only blinds. Walls were bare except the very large TV with no remote. Only positive thing I can say is the water for shower or bath was nice and hot and the people were friendly.

I don't understand why this place is getting such bad ratings. From the minute we arrived the staff was friendly and helpful to us, going so far as to make sure we were receiving all of the discounts to which we were entitled. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. There is a generous check-out time of 12:00 and they allowed us to continue using the pool area until late in the afternoon on checkout day. I've travelled extensively all over the world, and this is a perfectly adequate motel. We had an enjoyable, brief, stay, and are planning on returning in August for a longer one. I highly recommend this motel to anyone who doesn't absolutely need a bar and restaurant in the facility. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Very basic motel, ok for passing thru and getting some shuteye, but hardly a destination. Desk staff fast, friendly and efficient. Room was large with no carpet (personal preference). Bed a little soft but clean. Bathroom dated with peeling paint and stained flooring, but everything worked. Coffee in the room but no coffee pot (discovered at 05:00🤬). Reasonable lighting in parking lot. Sign on Loop does Not say Knights Inn! Felt it was overpriced, but with limited options in Crockett paid it anyway (maybe that’s how it works).

The gals are all really nice. They have no problem with my dogs being with me wherever I go accept to the pool. The manager went overboard and beyond what she had to do to get me in a room for last 30 days. She really took care of me. Due to flood I am staying till the 24th of July.
