Knights Inn Bunkie

By far not the fanciest hotel/motel around. Far as I am concerned that's great because it means you're not paying some extravagant amount for a room. Beds were good and firm as well as the pillows. Receptionist at desk when I checked was very cordial and polite. Room was nice and quaint, again nothing fancy but it had everything you need. Next time I'm in the area needing a place for some good QUIET shut eye definitely staying here again. Price is excellent as you don't feel you're paying an arm and leg. I've stayed in bigger fancier hotels and I've stayed in the smaller motels and personally I'd put this right up there with the big name brands. The truck stop next door has a great eating joint in it as well. This place may be in the middle of nowhere but it's an oasis for a tired soul

Moving the family across the country. 9 adults 1 child 4 cats 3 dogs 3 cars a U-Haul with a trailer. We had the worst luck possible with finding rooms. Disgusting hotels dirty drug infested terrible employees. We arrive in Bunkie, exhausted at each other's throats ready to give up and go back. The staff there were the greatest most helpful accommodating rooms were beautiful.. We thought we had given up on friendliness and helpfulness. They made us all feel so welcomed. From the moment we arrived they kept our spirits up made us laugh even after having got lost and back tracked 20 minutes. It was worth it. If we ever go back that way we definitely would stay there again.

Personnel/staff were informed, friendly, and helpful. Rooms are dated, run down, neglected, and in disrepair. Missing drain seal for both the tub and sink, carpet teeth exposed at bathroom threshold, drapes mended with duct tape. Free "continental breakfast bar" was waffles, apples, 3 sugary cereals. No decaf. No meat, eggs, berries, or sweet breads.

Bed was comfy, and (mostly) clean, few dust bunnies and a set of eyelashes behind the faucet in the bathroom, Stacy was very kind and helpful. If I am working in the area again, I would stay again.
