Klondyke Horsehead Lodge

My family came out to hike Aravaipa Canyon. Our stay was great. The lodge is clean and cozy and has everything you need. The scenery is beautiful. Beth and Dave are terrific hosts. Try Beth's breakfast casserole--delicious! They drove us to the trailhead in the canyon, and their stories of the history of the area were our favorite part. I would definitely stay here again.

We just had the wedding and reception for our daughter here and it was magical. The accommodations were comfortable for the guests and beautiful. Dave and Beth were so easy to work with during all of the planning and made it affordable. I would recommend this venue for any small group event. We had 40 people and had plenty of room.

Nice people. RV park for the daring, 35 miles of dirt road. An interesting country store with lots of history and a lodge that provides several types of rooms. It would be perfect for dark sky photography.

We stayed here for two nights in July. I really liked the views we had and Beth and Dave are such amazing people! It was a little warm however that's what happens in Arizona in the summer. This isn't something that they can control so I find no fault on their part. We stayed in the 3 bedroom and the kids loved it. They all said that they slept very well. I love that there is a store on site, just try to come prepared unlike us! We forgot to stop at the grocery store in Thatcher on the way in. That being said with what we did have and what we purchased at the store we made it work. The kitchen offered lots of cookware and I love the crockpot! We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for a week in November of 2021. Beth and Dave were great. The lodge was perfect for what we were looking for. Clean and comfortable. The store was always a welcome stop after a hard day in the mountains. The day we left we started planning a return trip in the next few years.
