Kishauwau Cabins

A great quiet tech free getaway spot. The grounds are clean with some great views of the Vermillion River. The nights were dark and perfect for star gazing. The cabins were clean, well maintained and equipped with what you needed. The wood burning stove added to the quiet ambiance and the hot tub felt fantastic after hiking at the nearby state parks. We're looking forward to our next stay there

We have now stayed at the Kishauwau cabins twice and can’t wait to return during the warm season. Having an entire cabin all to yourself with your own full kitchen really makes this a great place to stay. They provide all your basic kitchen items and clean towels and blankets. There is even a small shop at the office where you can borrow movies, purchase bonfire supplies, snacks and some merchandise. Definitely recommend their “vacation unplugged” mugs, makes for a great coffee or tea mug. The staff onsite is friendly and welcoming and happy to answer any questions you may have. They also allow for a quick and easy self check in and check out process to accommodate your schedule. Be sure to familiarize yourself with their property map if you arrive after dark. They create an environment of peace and beauty. You have zero to worry about when you stay with them, cabins are well cared for and well stocked. Plenty to explore in the area but when we come now we stay and never leave...in fact we would like to never leave. The Kings make you feel like kings and queens...thank you for your attention to making it a peaceful environment! We look forward to returning.

We had been wanting to go here for a few years. My wife, I and our dog Reggie finally had the opportunity. What a great place and great stay. Our cabin, Comanche, was perfect. From the location, to the cabin, to the peacefulness everything was a huge success. Roomy cabin with a full kitchen, nice comfortable bed, large bathroom with a big whirlpool bathtub and separate shower. Nice wood burning fireplace, couch and living room chair. Great local state parks for hiking and nearby towns for shopping and dinner. We stayed in and enjoyed the cabin and watched movies. Host was very personable and we had contact for anything we might have needed. We will be back again and again. Thanks.

We brought a group for a weekend away, and stayed in Osage, Grandma's Cabin and Trading Post. Our cabins were very clean, comfortable and well-maintained. The Kishawau staff was also friendly and responsive whenever we needed anything. Thank you for providing us with a great location for a relaxing weekend to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with each other.
