Kingsbay Mansion

We had the pleasure of staying at this gorgeous property when we went to visit Smith Island. Although we only stayed at Kingsbay Mansion for one night we left being huge fans of our experience. The Mansion and the surrounding grounds of the estate were absolutely eloquent, our room was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, and the full breakfast was scrumptious. All this was topped off with wonderful and engaging hosts.We would highly recommend Kingsbay Mansion to anyone who is considering a short stay or if you are considering hosting a special event at the property.

Wonderful weekend spent with the owners David and Jerry. A beautiful mansion lovingly restored. The room, and furnishings were tastefully done. The location and view on 500 + acres were just amazing. We would definitely recommend it to those seeking a true Eastern shore experience .

If you are seeking a wonderful, relaxing place that is away from crowds and heavy traffic, KingsBay Mansion is it! Apart from the great waterfront, the owners, David and Jerry, are wonderful people who are personally involved in the day to day activities at and in the Mansion. This really adds to the enjoyment of staying there!

We stayed at the Dockside House. It was beautifully set up and well furnished. Lovely pool, excellent location for some quiet time away but not too far from attractions.

My wife and I needed a quiet romantic getaway and were lucky to find this gem of a B&B. David King greeted us at the door when we arrive to show us around this beautifully decorated and enormous estate. We stayed in the huge Royal main bedroom suite complete with 2 full baths with gorgeous views of the water from a balcony. The king bed was very comfortable. The pool was refreshing and the shared living areas were beautifully decorated with fine furniture and antiques. In short, we had a great time, and our doodle was welcome too. Perfect! We will be recommending the Kingsbay Mansion to all of our friends.
