Kewanee Motor Lodge

Convenient location near downtown. The manager is a wonderful woman. She is friendly, honest and hardworking. I stay here about one weekend per month when visiting family and friends in my home town. It isn't fancy but is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Have been staying here for several years.

Great price for a no frills motel! All we needed was a clean room, bed and shower. This room also came with tv, fridge and microwave which we did not need or use. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again!

I would never stay at The Motor Lodge in Kewanee again. The lady at the front desk was very rude and had a bad attitude. I booked a room for 4 people with 2 beds, but when we got there she told me only 2 people could stay. That makes no sense if only 2 people can stay, why even have 2 beds? When I booked online, it let me choose between a smoking or non-smoking room, so I picked smoking. But when we showed up, there were signs everywhere saying no smoking or vaping or you’ll be fined $50. The room already reeked of cigarettes, so clearly people had smoked in there before and they didn’t bother cleaning it. I wasn’t happy about spending my money here, and the only reason I didn’t cancel was because they would’ve charged me anyway. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The weekly rates were an absolute steal for the quality provided, making it a fantastic option for both short and extended stays. If you’re looking for a spotlessly clean hotel with exceptional service and great value, this is the place to book! The owner’s passion for hospitality shines through, and I’m confident others will love their experience here as much as I did.
