Keuka Lake Motel

I had the opportunity to stay at the Keuka Lake Motel for the last 4 nights/5 days. I highly recommend it! Keep in mind - it's a motel, so don't expect breakfast or those kinds of services. However, you WILL get a clean room, comfy bed, plenty of towels, and staff who respond to you quickly (if needed) and a nice, convenient location (a brewery is literally just steps away from your room). I was in the area visiting family who didn't have room for an extra person (not sad about that, as I needed/wanted my own space) so I tried this place. I plan to make reservations again in the fall for my next visit. Great place!

We stayed here for three nights. The room was very clean and the motel sits back far enough from the road so it's quiet. We did not get any housekeeping while we were there. There is a small fridge and a coffee maker but no hair dryer or iron. The tasting room on the property has a nice selection of wine and beers. The tasting room closes at 8:00 so there is no late night noise.

Website states a lake view. Our view was a sea of blue metal roofing. What view you could see was a small window through some trees at other end of building. Can not comment in service because there was none. Was not even offered turned down service. Room it self was cozy but chair was way to small, Like a child's chair, and ants. AC was old in the wall and loud. On the plus side, Keg and Barrel had good food and drinks.

I stayed at the Keuka Lake Motel on a road trip from Minnesota to Albany. It was the perfect stop. The room was adorable and perfect and keg and barrel on a Wednesday evening provided a wonderful group of people to chat with. You can tell it's well loved in the community. I talked with the owner, Jim and he gave me great recommendations for what to do in the area with my short timeline. For $100 a night this place is a true gem. My stay truly brightened my whole trip.

Cute little motel in a nice location. The bed was comfy with nice bedding. However, the pillows were terrible! Flat and hard. The bath towels were small, thin, and scratchy. There were no hairdryers or conditioner in the rooms. The staff person was pleasant, and was able to come up with one dryer to be shared between our 2 rooms. There was no curtain on the bathroom window, which was at eye level. Our room had nice blackout drapes, but our friends' room did not. This definitely affected their sleep. This place could be a gem with a few improvements. We also all believe we paid too much for what we got.
