A nice place to camp in proximity to Milwaukee. Clean grounds, some sites can be tight but we stayed at site 334, which is a walk in site, but well worth it if you’re up for the task!
Easy to find and check in. Quiet and clean. Close to the lake. Lots of tree coverage. Campground sites felt private
We visited the park for a weekend. There’s a Ranger there named Emily. She was amazing. She was full of information and really knew her stuff. She made our visit very delightful. We definitely come back to see her.
Could be nice, so many out of staters. Crowded with not enough space for both bikes and hikers.
