Kenmar Motel

I am on the road alot. I stay at hotels often. I try to find reasonable rates. That being said, their rates are too low. I wish every hotel was exactly like this one. I liked everything about it. The rooms are clean and big. Another important aspect for me is peace and quiet. I usually get to my destination early in the morning, so waiting around until 3pm to check in is not a option. I don't mind paying extra but some places expect that I should pay a whole day. Kenmare, was very fair and accommodating. The owners/managers were professional. I could not recommend this hotel more.

As most reviews have stated, this is an older motel, but has been maintained in excellent condition over the decades. The authentic retro feel is nice, and the motel is very well cleaned. It is like stepping back in time, which is pretty neat. The new owners have only been there a few weeks, according to them, but there appear to be changes. The room is still nice, but a few small soap bars, only one washcloth for four guests, and cheap toilet paper didn't seem to fit with the rest of the amenities. The offer a breakfast, but it consisted of a couple boxes of doughnuts, one cereal that the owner poured, a couple of apples, and milk, juice, and coffee, which were rationed out. They might as well not offer a breakfast. Our kids ate, but we chose to go elsewhere for something more subs

A wonderful clean and quiet place to stay! Easy access off of I 76 Newburg Pennsylvania.It is dated but everything kept up and clean. It is a hidden gem of a motel. Kind of like a Mom and pop establishment. Very inexpensive and in the country like feeling.Much cheaper than 99% of the motels out there.

We did not stay here. We drove up to inquire about their rates and to see a room because we were with our baby and small dog. The lady was nice when we arrived. However when I asked to see a room, she wasn’t very friendly suddenly. She said there would be an extra charge for our small dog. The room was a good size but had a musky smell, so I politely thanked her and said we would think about it.

An excellent place to stay at an excellent price. It was located right off the Pennsylvania Turnpike and it was a little over $60 for a night.
