Kedron Valley Inn

Woodstock is an expensive town, and overall I think this place offers good value if that matters to you. There are pluses and minuses to consider and it depends on what you're looking for. This is an efficient, no services, no frills, no amenities inn-like motel & I think it is reflected in the price in a town where rooms can be up to $550/night. Pros: It's close to Woodstock, but not in Woodstock. The Country Store next door can fill in for things the hotel doesn't offer like coffee, breakfast, wine/beer, etc. It's only open until 5 pm. Cons: The rooms were a tiny bit run down. It's self check-in so there are no ppl to ask questions and no amenities. The restaurant is only open Wed-Sat. So you're stuck with no dinner option if you are there Sun-Tues and you'll have to drive into town.

Perfect 3 day stay. Room was well appointed, bed very comfortable. We were fortunate to have first floor suite in the building adjacent to restaurant, front deck rocking chairs well used morning coffee and evening drink. Restaurant had some unique pizza offerings as well as good appetizers - and talented bartender. |Couldn’t have been better

This is a lovely and very simple inn; as some other less satisfied reviewers note, indeed you get into your room with a keypad code and there isn’t a check in process, at least not at the evening time we arrived. We did not mind that. The room we stayed in, in the historic building, was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. If we were going to gripe it would be about not having coffee until the store opens—if you need coffee at 7 am plan accordingly. We aren’t going to gripe though: The grounds are beautiful and the country store (where you can get coffee and breakfast and lunch) and the tavern (for drinks and gourmet pizza) are quiet and delicious places to eat and hang out. The pond was a lovely place for an afternoon swim—better than any hotel pool for sure! Takin

We stopped here for a New England road trip and were amazed by the room size and quality. We had more room than could’ve asked for with a porch, upstairs, multiple tvs, king sized bed and hot tub. Beds were a little stiff but the entire place was clean and felt at home. The general store at the front was very convenient for supplies and had good food.

Review of hotel only - great proximity to Woodstock, garden is gorgeous, convenient parking, swimming towels provided, daily housekeeping (which is super rare nowadays) and Country Store nextdoor is lovely. Room was not at advertised- tons of extremely steep stairs in the building and in the room to get to the bed, no host on property, "coffee" was a Keurig in the main house only, they couldn't recommend area activities when I called in advance and told me to "look it up online", and the pond has nowhere to sit or trash cans. There are great things about this place and wanted to love it but would not return for the price point.
