I spent two nights in the 'West Elk' cabin, and it was very clean and comfortable. Loved the private hiking trail up to the old shooting range, I saw a couple of deer enjoying the cool morning air. Kebler Corner is a peaceful, quiet place to relax, I would love to stay here again. The one thing I would change is the dead bugs stuck to the ceiling/walls in the bathroom. A truly minor problem that ultimately did not affect my stay, but may make others squeamish.

We stayed at their beautiful RV sites — #14 and #15. The sites were spacious, peaceful, and right along the river with stunning mountain views. During our stay, our elderly dog suddenly became very ill and needed to be euthanized unexpectedly. Paul went above and beyond, suggesting a local vet, checking in afterward, and offering genuine kindness and compassion. The entire staff — from the owner on down — was incredibly caring and supportive as we grieved. This campground would have been amazing no matter what, but we’re especially grateful for the warmth and humanity shown to us during such a difficult time. It brings comfort knowing our sweet girl spent her final hours basking in the sun by the river, surrounded by mountains. We will certainly be back to visit.

RV camped under the cottonwoods. We were close to other campers on the sides but not the front/back of the camper. Nice views! Friendly staff. Wifi was good for my hubby to work from camp. Stream nearby for fishing. Close to Kebler Pass without having to camp at 10K feet. I'll be back. We made a reservation with 3 other parties and they put us together; not every campground will do that.

I've been driving by Kebler Corner for many years but never stayed. I finally booked two nights in the Doc Holliday cabin. The cabin itself was clean and well-appointed. The cleaners did miss some mystery fluid that was at the bottom of the refrigerator. I let the office know when I left. When I left to explore on Day two I came back to find that all my firewood had been taken. I don't know if this was staff thinking I had checked out or another guest who decided they needed it more than I did. The office was closed that day as well so I couldn't buy more. I walked around the tent and camping cabin sites by the river that had no people in them the night before and managed to find enough discarded pieces to have a fire anyway. Overall a very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay again.

I’m a long time local and we celebrated my son’s 30th birthday at Kebler Corner. We were a mixed bag of tents, trailers and van lifers. It was perfect! Normally, we’re back country campers, but this is a great base camp for exploring Grand Mesa, The West Elks, Kebler Pass, Crested Butte or checking out the wineries in Paonia. The facility is well kept, lots of games and the vibe is chill.
