Super grateful for the stay tied to the lock wall during a two day storm. No way to visit the campground from the wall but it looked nice.
Nice, paved hiking trail to the confluence of the rivers with plenty of paved parking, a visitor center, and informational signs on site for educational purposes. Very nice area, glad I heard about it from a friend, looked it up and and decided to go check it out.
Very nice 15 spot campground. All have electric hookups. Vault toilets. Nice hiking/biking trail that leads to the confluence of the Kaskaskia and Mississippi rivers.
A good hike for a rainy day. The asphalt trail kept us from getting muddy. A very nice view of the Mississippi and Kaskaskia rivers.
Paid $60 for a campsite that was apparently infested with roaches and now has infested my car and all the belongings in it. Tried to tell someone who works there to come down and look because my tent was swarming with them after starting to be taken down. No one acted as if they cared. Was given a bag to put my tent in to contain the bugs. Never once was offered a refund, so I can use the money to bomb my car before they make their way into my house. Do not recommend unless you want to bring home unwanted critters
