Well worth the drive. You will go down back roads to get to this really great location. Keep an eye out for all the upcoming events and fantastic food! The barbecue is to die for! The hotel rooms are exceptionally clean and so rustic, but very comfortable with all the accessories.

I came across this Hotel, saloon, Restaurant while Fly Fishing for trout in the Hillsville Va. area..... I was staying in a chain motel in Hillsville and heard about this place from a local....I actually went there to eat their " All You Can Eat " seafood buffet which I found out they do twice a month... Also learned they do a Beef feed twice a month....When I found it, about 13 miles from Hillsville, I fealt like I had pulled into a western town... Learned that's what it is supposed to be. Complete with Salloon( swinging doors ) , a huge building with a Covered Wagon Museum, and a hotel that is right out of a western movie... I spent the next two nights there and am glad I did... We stayed here a couple of weeks ago for one night after attending one of their events. Before booking our reservation, we confirmed with the owner what their hours to the saloon would be, as this place is out in the middle of nowhere and we needed to have a plan in regards to food beforehand. We were assured that the saloon opened in the morning and stayed open until 11pm. Upon arrival, we checked in and were charged for two nights. We addressed this and were immediately refunded and were told to call back if there were any issues with the charge. Once we got into the room, we found there were no batteries in the remote for the TV (not a big deal) and that one of the beds were broken. New owners 😞 dishonest heartless and greedy when we got there there was no TV connection cable I started to pack up because they were not going to accommodate but thankfully a friend that was there helped us I couldn't stay without this because my son is autistic he would have started hitting himself the owners child was continuously hitting my daughter throughout this event to where I had to bring my daughter in the hotel for the rest of the stay the owner's child threatened to get us kicked out she picked up my daughter and slammed her on the ground and hit her multiple times throughout this day my son due to the fact that their power went out for a few hours fell in the hotel shower multiple times I was using our clothes to wipe up the floor and my daughter went home in a nightgown bec
