K & E Motor Inn

Stayed here for about a week while in town for work. Like 80ish a night, holiday in was 170, Motel 6 was 125, extended stay was 180. Decent spot, close to restaurants/safeway/shopping etc. Nothing to write home about, but room was clean, bed was comfortable, mini fridge, microwave and HBO all were fine. Little chintzy but let’s be real, I got it for the price and didn’t expect a Trump Tower suite. Staff was polite and welcoming, didn’t get any house keeping services for the week, but exchanged towels easy enough. Don’t think I would stay here with a significant other or family per say, but as a solo guy traveling, worked out just fine and would recommend in that case.

My ratings are for what it is in this market. Price is great. Rooms are not interior corridors, and it does not pretend to be a high end motel. Rooms are small and basic, but clean and remodeled. They are a small staff and are not “open” 24 hours, but they are very friendly. Location is excellent - at least a dozen non-chain restaurants, a grocery store, discount store, and discount clothing score all within 150 yards. Would stay here again.

Is K&E a luxury hotel experience? No. But for the price, it’s plenty good enough. I was worried by some of the reviews, but those seem to have been related to the previous owners. Glad to see that it’s in better hands. It was a perfectly reasonable place to crash for a night.

I received some opinionsabout this Inn, based on the previous owner.This motel is under new management and has been renovated. The rooms are really nice. They smell clean, have a nice bed. Great size bathroom, nice floors. Air conditioning and heat, a microwave, a mini fridge, and a TV. It was quiet and nice and Mike was great. I will definitely be staying here again when I need a place to stay, in the lynnwood- edmonds area. The price of the rooms were great, compared to the area hotels/motels.

DO NOT BOOK HERE UNLESS YOU WANT ROACHES IN YOUR ROOM!!! We checked in very smoothly and we left for a concert we were in town for. We returned to our room 101 around 11pm when we noticed some bugs in the bathroom. After taking a closer look, the bathroom was infested with cockroaches!!! By far the worst motel/hotel experience ever!!! We were unable to reach the front desk as they close at 9pm and we were also unable to find a room within our price range leaving us to drive back home for 3 hours in the pouring rain. I will never return back to this place and I highly recommend you don’t book with them. If you do, take a good look at the bathroom before you settle in.
