Jones Lake State Park Campground

The campground at the State park has six fully service sites at around 15 unserviced. All campsites are close to the central restroom facility. It is winterized in the winter by having both heat and the vents insulated. The showers in the restroom look top notch. On the back side of the restroom facility is a wash station for dishes. There are garbage, pails and recycled bins throughout the campground. The full service sites have a 20 30 50 pedestal. A water faucet and a sewer hookup. I was in sight 4 it fit my 43-ft trailer and truck with plenty of room. The campground is in amongst tall pines and I think would give a 50/50 ratio of sun to shade

Beautiful wooded property with large site camping sites. It offers both electric and nonelectric sites at reasonable prices. Wide hiking trails would be suitable for bicycling too. Unfortunately the landscape is recovering from a fire. No lingering smell.

We had a great winter visit in our our trailer. There are half a dozen sites with hookups. The bath house is modern and clean. Almost no shade, so I bet it gets hot in the summer.

Very nice park and campground. They have full hookup sites as well as primitive sites.. Very scenic and secluded for a quiet relaxing getaway.

We found Jones Lake State Park to be an ideal spring vacation camping spot . Being a State Camp Ground, the facilities were very clean with large private showers. It was ideal when we were there in the early spring. This whole area gets very hot and full of bugs in the summer. The lake offers a place to swim or fish. However, there is not a lot to do except relax and enjoy being alive. We had an RV and were delighted to have water, electric, and sewer hook up. There are not many spots, but those that are there are spacious with ample naturalized areas between sites. We will be back.
