Jolly Roger Motel

This was our 2nd year staying at the Jolly Roger. The owners/staff are friendly and respond to requests quickly. This motel was nicely updated recently. It is 1 block from the beach which is convenient. It has sufficient amenities including an onsite cafe that serves complimentary coffee throughout the day. The pickleball courts onsite are also a plus. Overall, the facilities are clean and well kept. Only criticism is that the floors of the room need to be cleaned/swept better. We were wiping our feet with towels to get sand/dirt off of them before putting shoes on or getting in bed. We would continue coming here in the future.

The Jolly Roger Motel is a great place to stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was so nice to just hang out there. The owners Joe and Vince are the most hospitable and very enjoyable to speak with they take pride in their years of ownership. I have a past history from many years ago and it brought back so many memories to be able to visit it again. Thanks for the memories.

My husband and I recently spent 8 wonderful days at The Jolly Roger Motel in Wildwood Crest, NJ. Everything was perfect-especially the family who owns this motel--Joe, his brother, Vince-his wife Cindy and the front desk-Gina and Jill were amazing--SO knowledgeable about where to dine, where to go and where not to. The housekeeping staff were wonderful as well--GO and make your reservations for the summer of 2026 at the Jolly! You will thank me!!

Low key, super casual motel, but clean, recently remodeled and stocked with nice amenities. Beds are basic but decent enough, bathroom is small, but again, fine for a couple. Flat screen TV, fridge and microwave and a nice patio too. There’s a pool, pickleball courts and cornhole, and a coffee shop on site. Easy walk to the beach and Centennial Park and a handful of decent restaurants. Great ice machine! Walls are paper thin though - I could hear the screaming kid next door just fine

My family and I have been coming here since I was a kid back in the '90s. During our last stay, we raised some concerns about the pull-out sofa and the bed, which were incredibly uncomfortable. I don’t expect luxury, but you do want a decent place to sleep, especially for the price you pay. They assured us that this year, including the owner, they were in the process of getting new sofas. However, when we returned this year, there were no new sofas because most of them in the motel were broken. When we pulled out our sofa, it was not only broken, but as you can see in the pictures, the springs were popping out, which could really hurt someone. There were also makeshift boards propping it up. I went to the front desk and spoke with both the manager and the owner, expressing my concerns. Un
