Johnson Shut-Ins State Park Campground Loop 5

It all depends on which loop you will stay in and how well prepared you are. There isn't much to do, so come prepared to stay around your stall or to drive at least 15 min. I stayed in loop 5 which is for camping tents and has no electricity or water. Loop 5's entrance is at the following coordinates: 37.5616698, -90.8651951. You need to hike to get to loop 5's stalls, and it's uphill on a bumpy trail (lots of rocks and exposed tree roots). Just so you have an idea, it takes ~20 min hiking from the entrance to get to stall 506 (the lower the number, the closer to the entrance). Stalls thete are numbered from 501 to 507. If you are able to walk good distances, this place was beautiful. Plenty of hiking, nature and beauty. Climbing the rocks, soaking pools, swimming and areas of continuous high-flow water was very entertaining and fun for all ages. Great family experience.
