Although the weather did not cooperate, our stay at Jo Mary campground was a nice experience. The lot was good-sized and clean, with the best rating needing to go to the location and view of the mountains. 'On the water' lots are 20-30 feet from the lake. The beach that comes with the lot is good sized with sand and room for kids to play while enjoying the sun. Things to remember; there is no reception for mobile data and no wifi, so be prepared for that. The camp store has nothing to really offer. It is primitive in nature, no electric or sewer/water hookup, but we had our RV and generator. Be prepared for massive bugs if the wind/breeze stops blowing over the lake. All in all, if you're about waterfront location, the waterfront lots are excellent with beautiful views.

We enjoy camping here. Some beautiful sun rises & sets overlooking a gorgeous lake. It could use some picnic tables at the beach. And; the flushing toilets need some attention. Have been going to JoMary for years and will continue to do so

My family and I have stayed here several times this year. This area of Maine is beautiful any time of the year. The campground is clean and gorgeous with quite a few different style sites to accommodate tents, RV's large and small. Lot's of water front sites to choose from. It's such a magical spot in the middle of the Maine wilderness. Jason is great. Very friendly and accommodating.

Great campground, the views of the mountains are wonderful. The lake is large without being too big and scary, and the water is refreshing and very clear. The facilities are well kept. Be ready to slog your supplies in, because it's quite a journey to get to a store. The only drawbacks are the proximity of sites to one another (they're pretty tight though each one is a good size) and the 5 miles of pure washboard dirt road to get to the site. Neither of these will prevent me from going camping here again, though. Favorite part: listening to the loons all night and watching a meteor shower from the waterfront. Also-theres a beach and you can play here for a $10 day use fee.

Just wanted to thank Jason, for going out of his way to help us. After big wind storm that filled our boats with water. He ordered a pump so we could pump water out of our boats. He even came down to help pump them out.Thank you for ordering pump and letting us use it. It was greatly appreciated. The Powers .
